Today I got my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. I didn’t care which one. I just miss my family and want my life back. So, I drove almost 30 miles to the nearest place with an available appointment. I’m so glad to have taken this first step. There’s a little discomfort at the site of the injection, but nothing unbearable, at this point. I still think it’s worth it to protect my family and stay safe, and I definitely don’t want to get the virus. I was very sick in December, but tested negative three times for COVID, but that was bad enough. It was worse than the flu, and the after-effects lasted ages. If COVID is worse, or could be worse, I’m definitely glad to be taking steps to avoid it.
Otherwise, there is still no release date for the novella, but you will be made aware as soon as I have one. It hasn’t gone into editing yet, which will happen first, and I will make every effort to review any proposed changes quickly so that the novella can be released that much sooner. I hope you are looking forward to it as much as I am.
