November writing goals

Despite not feeling well the past several weeks, I’ve still managed to do some writing. My goal for November is to finish the book I’m writing, which is the sequel to The City That Disappeared. The first book is still waiting for replies from agents, so I don’t have a release date, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to complete the story. The sequel is now about half-way done, not counting any revisions.

Health-wise, I’m waiting on some test results from my doctor, which will hopefully explain why I’ve been so ill and what we can do about it. I just hope it’s easily treatable. Fingers crossed!

My other goal for this month is to work on revisions for Red Shift, which will now be a longer series as I’m breaking each book into two (they were monstrously long). Of course, I will do my best to make each a complete story, but given that this was originally a trilogy, that may be difficult. However, this is the project that is dearest to my heart, so I will do whatever I have to do to make it deserving of the dedication to my sister.

So, I should probably get back to writing, but I wanted to give an update since it’s been a while. Sorry! Hope everyone is staying safe. ❤
